Today’s Reflection
SOMEWHERE IN THIS DAY, O God,
let me be surprised by love.
Move me beyond taking life for granted.
Remind me to notice the color of someone’s eyes.
Quiet me enough to search,
really search, the sky —
a palette of golds, blues, and whites —
monochromatic at first, but then …
Urge me to take off my shoes and to walk upon your earth —
skin to skin, dust to dust.
Amen.

Lord be with all those who feel hopeless, may they come to know that You are the Hope of the world, of everyone. May they accept the precious gift given by Your grace and know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Amen
“Open mine eyes that I may see visions of love Thou hast for me….”
Dear Jesus, I hadn’t heard that hymn in such a long, long time. Thank you for giving me the beautiful painting by the words of Pamela Hawkins. Wwe are so truly blessed by such seemingly small miracles you give us each day, every day, even with every breath. Amen.
