Deep Peace

Today’s Reflection

Deep peace of the running wave to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
Deep peace of the shining stars to you,
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you, for ever.

This is a blessing to be received deep in the soul, embraced (and embraced by) and shared. Like a hug from the Holy Spirit, receive and offer.

Deep peace, my friends, to you. Amen.

Deep quietude to you to feel, hear, and see deep peace.

    Almighty Lord God:
Grant that we may have clean water.
Where there is parched earth, let us be able to drill deep.
Where water is withheld from us by guards, let us overcome with Your peace and love.
Where water falls in monsoons, let us capture the rain
Where water is polluted, help us clean it
For it is in quenching or dryness that we are again able to sing You hymns of praise
