Untamed Spirit

Today’s Reflection

UNTAMED SPIRIT:
Rough up my “conventional values”
with the wildness of your love and creativity.
Help me to let go
of my need to predict and control
and let me enter
the unmapped regions
of your grace.

I’m in a new experience and am very glad.

Lord even though our economy is improving many are still out of work. I ask for your wisdom that they may find employment and that in their search they lean on you for it can often be a frustrating experience. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

“help me to let go of my need to predict and control…” – Father, as I struggle in a relationship – I just want to trust You – and I do want Your will. Show me what You are trying to teach me in this. I want to follow Your leading and drown my frustrations in Your love.

After many years of being a questioning hard headed preacher’s kid it is my firm belief that life lived in the will of God is a continuous new experience. The saturation of the Holy Spirit in our lives as we release ourselves totally to God’s will is like Holy Oil running on the longest hair of our head, covering our entire body, and running off the longest nail of our toes. Once we surrender our very selves to the will of God, life becomes a continuim of joyous experience. Thanks be to the Saints who have led us to this revelation. Amen and Amen !!!
