Prayer of Trust

April 3, 2013

Today’s Reflection

DEAR CREATOR,
I pray that I may be
of service to you and your people.
I ask for courage in times
of uncertainty and self-doubt.
I surrender to you my old
notions of who I thought I
should be or could be.
May I trust in your plan.
Lead me safely on this journey
so that I may be your instrument.
Amen.

Yes, Lord, this is my prayer too.

Lord, may everyone come to know, believe in, and accept you as Lord. May you be in each and everyone that your kingdom will come on earth as it is in heaven. In your name I pray, Amen.

I surrender to You…yes and amen. Father – I do want to be Your instrument. Increase my trust. Might I always be mindful that it is about Your glory only.
