Thank you, God

Today’s Reflection

THANK YOU, GOD, that even when I feel empty and dry,
I know that the springs of joy are there,
buried deep within me.
I ask you to tap those springs now,
release them, and carry me away on their fullness.

Thank you, O God, for joy.
Joy that overcomes all else.
Joy that is more powerful than the darkest powers.
Joy that is more abundant than the waters in the seas.
Joy that is mine.

Betsy, Jay, Jill, John, and Sally,

My prayers go out for you for healing, thank you for your prayers. As I believe Jesus wishes, we are all lifting up each other in prayer and prayer is powerful.

Yes, the perfect joy is Jesus. Through Him we can celebrate with joyful hearts.

Our pastor who has been on respite leave for two months, she cares for her 90+ year old mom while being a full time pastor, returns tomorrow. We will all be very glad to see her. The interim pastor did a very commendable job and kept us on the right path.

I pray for struggling churches. My last church struggled with a huge old building and declining membership. Some changes that were intended to help boost membership had exactly the opposite effect.
May the Holy Spirit be with them and guide them that the flame is rekindled. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for up holding me as I am new to sharing , but not new to reading the daily sight. I pray the fruit of joy be ours in abundance , as The Lord shows me how to love myself and forgive myself. Our God must be full of Joy, if God is love He also must be Joy. I’ve had enough of the deeds of the flesh, lead us by Your Holy Spirit o Lord.
