Healing Reminders of God’s Love

Today’s Reflection

ALMIGHTY GOD, by the power of your Holy Spirit open our eyes, ears, hearts, and very lives to your presence so that today we may worship and serve you in faithfulness, and be blessing and healing reminders of your love to all whose lives we touch. We offer our prayers in the name of Christ. Amen.

A wonderful prayer for this day and any day. May it hold true for everyone who reads and prays it. Thank You, Lord.

Grateful for Anneliese’s progress yesterday, the side effects of the anesthesia wore off over the course of the day, she began to eat, was able to sit up for a while, and got out of bed and walked. She may have been given a unit of blood last night. The wound is less painful than the first hip replacement.
She may be off to rehab in the next couple days.

Thankful for cards, calls, emails, messages at the UR, flowers, and chocolate.
She should be able to use her tablet today to both email and skype.

Prayers for those without clean water.
Thankful for resources to help them.

Yes, Lord, may I have Your presence today and show love to those I meet.

Thankful for a sunny day and less wind, our grandson moving along in Districts with wrestling, and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends today and I guess the excitement that comes with competition.

God bless the UR family today – prayers for those facing difficulties in their lives. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen

The two things I am most thankful for today: 1) Annaliese’s progress since surgery (yahoo) 2) attending a Peter Rabbit show with granddaughters, daughter-in-law and son (so fun).

Thank you, God, for life, for miracles, for healing of many kinds, for the child in all of us, for imagination. Thank you for your loving presence with our UR family today.

Grateful for good staff fellowship at lunch today.

Yes, God, by the power of your Holy Spirit, may we be blessing and healing reminders of your love to others.

May you help us to count our blessings and give thanks to you daily too.
