About
Welcome to Upper Room Daily Reflections.
Here at Upper Room Ministries, we say, “Every Day — Find a Way.” We invite you, every day, to find a way to spend some time with God in reading, prayer, and meditation.
Here’s how to use Daily Reflections:
- Read Daily Reflections online. Or subscribe to a feed (RSS or email) to have the reflection pushed to you every day.
- Read each day’s quote from an Upper Room book or magazine. Spend some time thinking about these words and how they speak to you that day. As you spend time with the quote, it will deepen within you, bringing you new insights and connections.
- Read the scripture reading each day. The scripture reading is from the week’s lectionary scriptures. (Read more about the lectionary.) Read the scripture meditatively and prayerfully. (Try doing Lectio Divina with both the scripture reading and the quote for the day.)
- Close your meditation time with prayer. If you would like to, submit a prayer to the Upper Room Prayer Center.
- Share your thoughts with others by commenting on that day’s reflection on the Daily Reflections web page.

I read The Upper Room daily for more learning & inspiration. More daily reading of the Bible increases my Christian faith.
I start my day with The Upper Room daily readings which helps uplift me in my times of need, and that gives me God’s strength and love to continue to live , love and work all in his name.
I enjoy the upper room
My day doesn’t start without my UPPER ROOM and ALIVE NOW meditations. It’s here that I feel that I’m face-to-face with Jesus the closest in that day.
your emails has not been coming to me for the last few days. is there a problem?
Dear Upperroom,
My chaplain at the VA hospital shared the Upper Room with me back in Dec 2011.

Dear Brother/Sister,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
I am Somie, from Pakistan. Urdu and Punjabi are the biggest languages of this country. I visited your website (daily.upperroom.org/) and impressed by your work. I have one suggestion regarding booklets, sermon, tracks, and Bible studies and recording, it would be good, if these will be available in our native languages in Urdu and Punjabi. Reaching out to the people in their own languages is very helpful, effective and fruitful. If your ministry is interested and keen to reach the unreached and untold in Pakistan with the materials in native languages. I can arrange to translate for messages, bible studies, biblical tracks, books and also Urdu page on your ministry website. Our all services will be provided with reasonable rates and whatever we get we use it to spread the word of God.
Would please to hear from you,
With prayers,
Somie

I have written and would like to contribute an entry for the daily Upper Room devotional.
I find the Daily reflection helps my spiritual growth. Why is there not a link to the Daily reflection page on your home page? Fortunately I have it bookmarked on my iPad, but if I ever lost the bookmark I am concerned that I would not be able to find the page again. And I am concerned that others do not have access to this great resource via your home page.
Help! My family and I really enjoy the Upper Room daily devotional and reflections that comes to us via e-mail. We have been reading them both onlilne for a few years. Our last devotional was sent on December 7,2012. Is there some sort of problem in why we are not receiving either one? Please if you need me to re-subscribe I will do so. I still want to receive both Daily devotional and Reflections. There are a true inspiration to us. Thank you and God Bless, and have a Blessed New Year!
The Upperroom reflection helps me to reflect and draw near to God. It reminds me of His love, goodness, grace and mercy.
I shared my thoughts on yesterday’s devotion. March 18, 2013 I had a real problem with the question that didn’t seem to reflect the “reflection”. Today I can’t comment and am still only getting yesterdays. Have you bumped me off because you didn’t like what I thought and shared?
Thank you so much for the daily reflectiOns. I read them daily and they give me guidance and inspiration every day. God bless all.
I too, like some of the above posts have been unable to download daily devotions. This morning, I tried to subscribe, but still haven’t been able to find the website. If there is a charge, I will be willing to pay. Thank you
