The Challenge of Faith

Today’s Reflection

OUR CHALLENGE is to have faith—in failure, in success, in whatever life brings. The unexpected turns, the painful endings, the precarious beginnings are all part of the path of faith, where we are reminded with each step that the Resurrection did not happen only once long ago, it happens each day of our lives.

“Little Easters” – as one author puts it . I experience these when I realize that I have reacted in a situation – completely led by God. It is not as I would have ordinarily acted – under the power of self. The realization brings an Easter moment, mixed with Thanksgiving.

I experience resurrection by living a victorious life in Christ through God’s empowerment.

Help me God to abide in you for without abiding in you, I can do nothing.
