Plant Me in Righteousness

Today’s Reflection

O GOD, I SURRENDER TO YOU THE HABITS and sins that, like frost, chill my soul and cause your life-giving energy to cease its flow in me. Uproot me from the weed patches of evil wherein I have chosen to sink my roots. Plant me instead in your field of righteousness.

Despite being saved, I’m still human, and as a human certainly not perfect, without Jesus’ redeeming grace and love, life would end in the wrong place. Lord, I need You every day and with You I am able to do what You would have me do. Thank You Lord for Your love, in Your name I pray, Amen.

Lord, single mothers need your wisdom, strength, love, and grace that they may do for their families what would be done by two parents. With You their task is possible, thank You Lord for your help.
In Your name I pray, Amen.

Yes, a time of thawing, warming, growth. Father, I marvel at Your stimulating process. You have been active in this field since the Lenten season. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Keep at bay the weeds, help me to be mindful as You encourage me in the weeding process.

I’m very grateful that God dug around in the weed patch, ripped away the bramble bushes, found the withering and shriveled me, aqnd rescued me from the darkness.
