The Millennium Resolution

Today’s Reflection

LET THERE BE
respect for the earth
peace for its people
love in our lives
delight in the good
forgiveness for past wrongs
and from now on a new start.

Put God first. Amen to all the posts before me. All excellent suggestions.

Thankful my lab work for next week’s cardiologist appointment is done, the sun is shining, blue sky, glad to hear from my son, financial obligations being paid, men’s communion breakfast tomorrow morning.

Sometimes we don’t know, recognize, the results, the effect of our own Sunday School teachers. I do remember visits to a synagogue and an Episcopal church during confirmation class. Going to chapel in army basic training was a very helpful experience. Thankful that God has been with me all my life.

Blessings to all this weekend. Have a blessed Sunday.
