Prayer for the World

Today’s Reflection

O GOD, Creator and Redeemer,
I bring before you this world you so lovingly made.
Forgive us for the ways we have turned our backs
on you and on one another.
Have mercy on us, O Lord. Have mercy on us.

Yes, Lord, we need Your ever presence and forgiveness. Help us always turn to You, trust in You, give thanks to You, for without You we don’t exist.

Thankful Erich has a job and his sunburn is healing. Thankful for progress getting back on our feet and our garden doing well. Thankful Anneliese is making great progress at physical therapy and that a house sale seems likely.
My sprained ankle is getting better too. Thank You, Lord. Lots of new beginnings!

    Happy Father’s Day!

Amen! May our God strengthen the body of Christ that we will be many lights on many hills. Beginnings can be painful. Old ways have gone – the new has come. Courage in God that He will accomplish His will through us.

      Thanks for these thoughts, Carol.

An apt prayer for these times, this country. Father – draw us back to You. Help us to further Your Kingdom with compassion.
Grateful for a relaxing time away and safe travels throughout. It is good to be home.
My thoughts turn to my father today – will get to celebrate with him and mom, my sister and her husband as they are coming over for lunch after church. So grateful for the father my Heavenly Father blessed me with.
Happy Father’s Day wishes to fathers here – Robert, and I am thinking Rusty, too? Surely, if not biologically, then in a surrogate manner. Blessings to you both.

Thank you Jill and Happy Father’s Day to your Dad and your brother-in-law.
Glad you had a good time away, traveled safely, and are now at home. Your posts have been missed.

Yes, Happy Father’sDay Robert. Hope you enjoy the day with Erich now that his job is back on track.
Today’s reflection is perfect for our country and indeed entire world in this day. If only the world’s leaders could embrace this sentiment.
My leg has not been feeling as good as it was feeling previously. Prayers that this is temporary would be greatly appreciated.
Blessings to all our small UR community of friends.

Prayers for your leg, Julie. Can sympathize with my ankle not healed yet.
It should be a nice, but warm day, off to church soon.
Blessings to the UR family on Father’s Day.
