Breathe Into Our Souls

Today’s Reflection

MAKE US LIKE THE WIND – ever-moving and ever moving others. And with joy we will dance with the leaves.

In submission we will linger in the shade, cooling the skin of those scorched by the sun’s heat.

In awe we will pause and be still enough to hover over creation, admiring your world and waiting for your command. And when you move us, we will fly with more strength, reminding people that you are present even in times you may seem invisible.

Breathe into our souls, Lord, and make us like the wind, like your Holy Spirit – in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
– Ciona D. Rouse”

MAKE US LIKE THE WIND – ever-moving and ever moving others as You guide us. In awe we will pause and be still waiting for Your command. And when You move us, we will fly with more strength, reminding people that You are present even in times You may seem invisible. Breathe into our souls, Lord, and make us like the wind, like Your Holy Spirit – in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We all need to be like this, filled with Christ and the Holy Spirit, guided by God, allowing God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to work through us reaching others. I pray this for all who come to the UR, for Rusty and K, Andrea, Lou, Jill, Julie, Connie, Betsy, and after last night’s news that the house sale fell through, for Anneliese. Her alternative is to find tenants.

Thankful for the blessings of yesterday, resources to pay bills, grocery shopping, repairs done, progress on starting a business and finding track for a layout, good meals, food from the garden, and rest. Thank You, Lord, for posts at the UR and the upcoming transfer of my church membership in September. God’s peace be with all of you.

This is how I want to be. Filled and moving with the Holy Spirit for others to see and feel Gods’ presence. Amen

In submission we will linger in the shade…yes, in obedience to You, Father – You provide perfect rest. May we be comfortable aloft in Your Wind, trusting Your ways.

May God’s Wind lift me and take me to where He needs me to be to serve His purpose. May His Breath fill me so that I am capable of fulfilling His Purpose.
So sorry about the house sale Robert. Prayyers for you, Anneliese and Erich. Prayers for Lou, Betsy, Jill, Connie, Rusty and K and all those who come for a breath of fresh air as wells as the soul refreshing wind of fellowship.

…you are present God …even when you seem invisible- we trust in you and have faith…
Today I scheduled surgery to hopefully help the back and leg pain that I have had since April. I pray it goes well- the surgeon was very confident – I still must wait several weeks but I believe God is with me and with each one of us despite the trials of life – thankful for those who express joys and good news and prayers for the faithful who journey amidst the struggles but stay strong in their belief. Prayers and thanksgiving for God is merciful.

Yes, Lord, breathe into our souls and make us like the wind to make a difference in this world!

    • April August 11, 2017, 10:27 pm

Yes Lord, may I make a difference in the world because I believe and trust in You. May others know You though my hands and feet.
      Blessing to my UR family….
