Thank You for Joy

Today’s Reflection

THANK YOU, GOD, that even when I feel empty and dry, I know that the springs of joy are there, buried deep within me. I ask you to tap those springs now, release them, and carry me away on their fullness.

Thank you, O God, for joy.
Joy that overcomes all else.
Joy that is more powerful than the darkest powers.
Joy that is more abundant than the waters in the seas.

Joy that is mine.

The joy which The Spirit imparts cannot be taken away from us. Yes, our perception of it may ebb and flow, but it is an undeniable part of us.
Grateful to be at the end of the work week. Grateful for safe travels for my sister and her husband, as they returned from Florida – they will be in town until just after the New Year.

Yes, Lord, there is joy with You, Thank You, Lord.
Off to heart rehab on a chilly, 22 degree, morning, it will go to 13 tonight and 42 during the day.
Thankful Erich has two days off and a paycheck.
I no longer need to have my heart monitored during work outs, it is working just fine. Still going for the workout and classes. Very thankful for this heart rehab program, it along with my almost daily walks has helped me a lot, not just physically but spiritually and emotionally too.
Thankful there is such a thing as weekends. We most certainly need them.

Prayers for Anneliese’s son-in-law’s Dad terminally ill with cancer and for Ashly with anorexia then bulimia. Lord, we are constantly reminded of our need for You.

Prayers all who come to the UR, God is with you, us as we gather in Jesus’ name. God grant you your needs and fill you with the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed day. Thank You, Lord.

May the joy and peace of God’s love wrap around us and carry us through our day. Grateful for a long weekend and looking forward to spending some time with family and friends. I pray for all that are struggling with cancer and for those who have died. May they find peace. I also pray for the family and friends left behind here on earth that are tired, worn out and deeply sad. Please God guide and protect them and help them find joy and peace once again. I pray for all here at UR that the joy and love of God will always be with you.

Thank you God, that joy is always available for us to choose. Help us to choose to live with you in joy rather than without you and live in darkness and despair.
Blessings and prayers for all of the UR prayer warriors. May your day be filled with joy and wonder.
