New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

GOD, WE GIVE YOU THANKS for the grace
that lies at the heart of our faith.
Even as we fall short in our response
to your love and your call, your grace still abounds.
We see your grace in the sunlight that warms the earth
and in the starts that light the sky.
We see it in the manger at Bethlehem
and in the cross of Calvary.
In your grace we find peace and healing
for troubled lives.
In your grace we see promise for justice and mercy in a troubled world.
As you envelop us, enliven us, and embrace us,
we celebrate you as the God of grace. Amen.

Andrea, today’s reflection came late as Julie also noticed. You were right to expect posts. Hopefully they will come soon, but there is a slight change in timing.

Thankful for groceries, information given to Erich to help him, expecting a game of chess sometime today. More cleaning and organizing in my room. Thankful to have found some needed modeling supplies. Should have looked earlier they would have helped even more. Sometimes I get lazy. Thankful for the wonderful help Erich provides when it comes to meals and grocery shopping. Thankful for Face Time with Jenny, Oona, and 5 year old birthday girl Willa yesterday. Thankful they are all well.

Prayers for the all needs of the UR family. God covers them all. Thank You, Lord. Prayers especially for those with medical issues of any kind, those trying to be reconciled with family members, and teachers working with students, fellow teachers, administration, and parents. Safe travel for all on the move today.

Spreading the Word class, worship, and fun tomorrow at our sister church. I already have practice getting there in the dark. Hopefully a walk outdoors today, have been inside working out for the last three days..

The Lord be with you, thank You, Lord.

I look at the UR Daily Relections’ mobile version and the time that each reflection and comment is posted does not show there. I will not wonder the next time it happens….thanks Julie and Robert.

Grateful for the joy of seeing my dad’s progress and the nurses and doctors who take good care of him.

Grateful also for his good appetite. Please pray that he will want to do his physio exercise as he is frustrated due to his weakness and inability to do what is required.

Grateful that the physio therapists are very patient with him.

Gracious God, thank you for your patience with us too.

    Blessings

Praise God for the good news from you, Mary. So glad your Dad is making progress, eating well, receiving great care, and patient help. Slow but steady continued progress is best.

Prayers for a restful weekend and God’s wisdom, courage, and strength for you and all concerned at school. Prayers for communication help, that will ease a lot of tension. Blessings and peace.
