New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

WE BELIEVE in the One who lifts our poor and broken spirits,
Restores our souls and gives us new life in God’s kingdom on earth.
We believe in the One who puts our hearts and
Gives us peace that overshadows all woes.
We believe in the One who nourishes our bodies and
Keeps our souls healthy with the Bread and Water of life.
We believe in the One who gives s mercy to give as a gift to others
And appoints peacemakers in the midst of war.
We believe in the One who gives us mercy to give as a gift to others
And appoints peacemakers in the midst of war.
We believe in the One who keeps us standing on holy ground
Though surrounded by false gods,
False teachings,
And false doctrines.
We believe in the One who kept
Moses and Miriam,
Jacob and Rebecca,
Martin Luther King Jr. and Dick Gregory,
Bishops Marcus Matthews and Leontine Kelly,
Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou.
We believe in the One whose face we will see
At the end of this journey in the fulfillment of God’s realm.
We believe in the awesom power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus.
We believe in God.
Amen.

I believe in The One Who reaches down daily, into my life, and touches me – so I may touch others. Yes, I believe – thank You Father. I am coming to trust in Your Sovereignty more and more. Thank You for giving me a heart more open to understanding and trusting in Sovereignty. Thank You for the comfort of Your Holy Spirit. Yes, I experience and believe, and I believe and experience.
Father – You know the situation with Julie’s daughter. May she receive the care that is needed. We collectively trust You are seeing to Marcy’s needs…physical, financial, emotional, spiritual. Be her Rock today.
Father – I pray for my dad today as he returns to the doctor – I pray he has been recovering well this past week. I ask that Your Will include a good report from the doctor and manageable recovery moving forward.
Still relishing in the normalcy of my students, the routine that each school day brings, and special conversations with both students and close staff friends.

There is a simple poster in the social hall at church, It reads, “We came, we came, we came to BELIEVE.” I am a believer. Believing has made a big difference in my life and I will not let it go. Thank You, Lord.

Have a cardiologist appointment soon, need to get ready, have read the prayer concerns and will pray and post. Blessings to all of you.

Thank you all for your prayers for my daughter. She had a kidney stone that she passed without knowing. She continues to have pain from the swelling in her kidney but she is home.
My knees and foot were reinjured due to driving to the hospital.
Prayers for all who have posted concerns and those who no longer post
    Blessings to all

Very thankful to share that I don’t need to see a cardiologist on a regular basis, only if I need one. My medication has been cut back as well. I just need to keep exercising, eating right, and taking the meds I’m still on. Thank You, Lord.

Have had a good day with Erich, am making progress on a model, and have an email from my daughter. There is a cooperative spirit for this year’s income tax, Anneliese is finally feeling better after her long muscle spasm attack, and there may be progress selling the condo. Very thankful for this progress, good news. Prayers most certainly work, thank you all for your prayers.

Glad that Julie’s daughter has passed the kidney stone and is home. Prayers for healing. Thankful for Julie’s posts and prayers for help with her knee, foot, and hands. Julie may you be guided by God’s wisdom and do what God would have you do for yourself. Take good care, you are in God’s hands and in my prayers for your well being.
