Sending Forth Prayer

Today’s Reflection

Send us forth, O God, with
every breath a thanksgiving,
every thought wrapped in compassion,
every word filled with kindness, and
every deed a channel of Love.
Through your grace may our lives become a prayer.
Amen.

Yes, Father, may thanksgiving, kindness, compassion and love evident in my words and actions throughout the day. You encompass me with Your Presence, assist me to magnify You.
So very grateful for the time I got to spend with my friend this weekend. Unhurried, simple time together. A great blessing. Grateful, too, for minimal weather issues while traveling…about a half hour of slushiness to begin yesterday, but then smooth sailing with little traffic. Was home by mid-afternoon yesterday, so was able to unpack, fix dinner and get to bed early.
Father – thank You for replenishing me with this visit.
Prayers for concerns and joys listed here…Annaliese, Mary’s dad, Marcy’s week ahead and her pastors’ assistance, Betsy’s new role, Andrea and her grandson and daughter, Julie – her hands and her daughter’s recovery. Father – cocoon us in Your care.

This prayer says a lot in few words. Yes, I pray that I will be, do what this prayer says. Lord with Your help it is possible.

Thankful for Jill’s safe travel and time with her friend. Hope she is well rested for the week ahead. Grateful for the prayers for Anneliese, the UR family, and their concerns. I, too, join in praying for her, the UR family, their concerns, and the needs of single mothers and fathers. Glad I am able to pay bills.

Peace be with all of you as we begin a new week.

Compassion, kindness, Thanksgiving and love; help me, Lord, to show these to those around me today and throughout the week. I pray for single parents today, especially one young lady at our church who is raising a young son alone while the father is incarcerated. Surround her with love and compassion this day. Amen

What a wonderful prayer. May the Lord use me as His instrument to embody ths prayer and radiate its goodwill to all I meet.
Thank you for your prayers. My daughter is doing very well. No lasting pain.
Prayers for each of you and for single parents. Welcome to those who are new to posting. I look forward to hearing from you today and every day.
Blessings to this supportive family of believers

It is a quiet Monday morning. I pray to accomplish more today and every day. I have so much fabric and potential sewing projects, which I love to do. But I let it just lie. Also, the house needs a good cleaning. I pray to get on top of that, too.

Prayers for single parents. I was one for 18 years, and it was difficult. I think what helped me the most was having a spiritual advisor.

Prayers for UR friends and all who visit this holy space.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

    Wonderful prayer-
I never thought I would be a single parent but now I guess I am. It’s hard to think of myself that way – for 22 years I wasn’t and now I am. I pray for all parents – single or not it is difficult and also joyful. I pray for special strength for single parents and the pressures for them and their children living between two parents.
Blessing to all- another snowy wintery night.

Lou, i am keeping you in prayer.

May God be your ever present help. May He grant you strength, wisdom and inspiration!

      Blessings

        Love you, Lou.
I was a single parent, too, and it “ain’t” no fun! Prayers.

It isn’t all fun, but isn’t all bad either. When you have children you take on a commitment. It’s like life, that isn’t all good or all bad either.
