New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

LORD JESUS,
may I trust the faithfulness of your Father
who feathers and feeds the birds.
In the people I meet,
the places I go,
the food that I eat,
help me to see and hear,
taste and touch
the abundance of your grace
within the landscape of your love.
Set me free from anxiety
and the burden of excess
so that I may share with others
the gifts I have received.

Long awaited, it’s finally here. Thank You, Lord.

Today’s reflection like the ones I consider among the best says a lot in a few precious words. Yes, I wholeheartedly agree and hope all of you experience the blessings this reflection describes.

In addition to help from a model railroad club in Germany, my German is getting exercised. A good work out at the gym, wonderful meals, and the keep us on our toes actions of Pearl are among the blessings of the day. Thank You, Lord.

For your faith, health, relationships, families, and friends I pray. May God’s wisdom, grace, love, and mercy be yours now and always. Thank you dear UR friends. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Trust in the Father- I ask him every morning to help me and He does.
Thankful for the prayers of all offered here- prayers for all that come to this place – thankful for all that the Lord continues to provide – in a few days I’ll take my oldest and youngest to travel to my daughters graduation in Vermont- my mother and brother will meet us- prayers for my mother to be able to make it through the long days – she so wants to be a part of the celebration but it will be taxing on her. Prayers for my strength as I try to negotiate providing a nice time for my daughter as she is faced with sharing this experience with a “split”family… it will be challenging – help us negotiate this time Lord.
