New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

ROOTED AND GROUNDED in the Creator’s love,
entwined in Christ’s own life,
may you hear the song of the Spirit today
in trees and grass, in forest and field,
and in the tender stretching of your own heart.

Yes, Father – I am so grateful to be rooted in You. Take my roots deeper, clinging to Your foundation. May my nutrients come only from You, may that be what I seek.
I am grateful for a touching card I received from one of the members of the cancer support group. I opened up a little this past Sunday during the meeting. The group is so supportive, so loving…so God-glorifying. May it be so of me.
Grateful for heated throws and orange/spice candles.

“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand”. May our roots go deep in our love for Jesus.
Yesterday was very stressful, but today is another day.
    Thankful for:

Little Hummingbirds that sit on the feeder for many minutes, probably thinking “which way do I go?”.

It is a sunny, windy day here today, and crisp. I need to get outside and walk. A little while ago, I yelled at my husband and told him to “go.” I feel awful, he did not deserve that. Please pray for him, and for me, and for us.

Please also pray for my friend Grace, whose mother is dying, and whose family is high-conflicted.

May I hear the song of the Spirit today…in the tender stretching of my own heart.

Prayers for dear UR friends. Blessings.

Thank you, Julie, for your prayers. My daughter and I have a closeness that I once did not think would ever happen. I am realistic that there will be conflict, but I take one day at a time.

I pray for you and your difficult situation, hoping the divorce settles without undue delay and you are well taken care of. Prayers also for your health and for your daughter. Blessings.
