New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

God Remains

HELPER OF ALL who are helpless,
we call on you in times of stress
and in times of devastation.
Pick up the broken pieces
of our hearts, our homes, our history
and restore them to the way they were,
or give us the means of starting over
when everything seems lost.
O God, our help in ages past,
we place all our hope in you.

Our hearts here in Pittsburgh mourn the loss of so many wonderful people. But we are a loving and supportive family and we will support one another.
    YES PITTSBURGH IS STRONG
We are resilient and WE ARE INCLUSIVE
May we shine like a beacon of hope and love for all the world.

Yes, this is true and yes ask it for everyone worldwide. Lord, we so need You.
Empower is to change hate to LOVE. Help us to bring Your kingdom to earth.

This came very late in the afternoon and only now I’m finding it. Lord, I also ask for Your wisdom as we vote here in the United States. Biblically it is onlyYou who are our leader, guider, protector, savior. Like the ancient Israelites we have asked for leaders, guide us that our choices mirror Your wish, direction. Help us live up to the motto, “In God We Trust.” With You, Lord, we are on the right path. Thank You, Lord.
