New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

DEAR LORD, THANK YOU for my church
And for the people who are part of it.
I’m grateful to be reminded each Sunday of
Who I want to be,
Who you want me to be, and
Who you want us to be together.
Continue to guide the pastor, other leaders, and each church member.
Keep us faithful to you and to the mission you have given us.
Help our lives better reflect your love, both as individuals and as a community.
I pray for courage and encouragement
For those who are starting new churches.
Let their lives show your love and caring
So that many people who need you will find you.
Help my living always be a credit to my church
And a sign of my faith in you. Amen./

This is a message, a prayer, that we can’t be reminded of too often. May we find our rest in You. Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light.
Travelling (in-state) to a conference/round table thing today – about a two hour drive one way. It is doing some type of icy, wintry mix right now. Hoping the roads will be ok by the time I leave. Today will be the last of my pink gerbera daisies as it is supposed to dip to 22 tonight.
    Good morning.

Forecast In the 30s all day today. Rain and snow mix tonight.

Had to check as the reflection titles are the same, but not the content.

Thankful for Jill’s mystery leaf raker. That’s a great surprise. Thanks to Julie and Connie for prayers and very interesting positive posts. Prayers for Marcy needs, God’s peace to Gloria, guidance and patience to Julie, and safe travels to Jill.

A training day for Erich and hopefully more progress with both the treatment and physical therapy Anneliese is undergoing. Santa’s Workshop starts today at church. Progress with the Bismarck smokebox door, will see what happens.

Have a wonderful weekend, man blessings.

This is the first time I remember a reflection being repeated so soon. I need then to take this to heart, perhaps write it in my prayer journal and take quiet time in my day to reflect on it’s wisdom.
Prayers for Jill. May she be safe as she travels and may she find the conference enlightening.
Prayers for Robert and Erich. May Erich be patient during his training and may Robert be safe as he travels today at least to church. May the Santa’s workshop project be successful. Prayers that Anneliese find relief from her pain with the new treatments.
Prayers for Mary and may her joy continue. Prayers for her mother and may she enjoy many more birthdays.
Prayers for Connie and her family, Andrea and her family, Lou and her family, April and her family, and Betsy and her family. Prayers for Marcy and continued support and physical healing.
Thank you for your prayers and kind words.
Prayers for all who rest here today may you find friendship among this UR family
