New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

MIGHTY GOD, you have told us to rejoice always, seek to do good to one another, and be at peace. Help us rely on your strength and faithfulness in all things. Breathe your loving Spirit into us; calm us and give us words to praise you in wonder, for you have done marvelous things for us. We give you thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Father God, thank you for restoring Robert’s water system speedily.

We uplift those who are homeless into your hands. Please provide shelter for them and meet all their needs.

May we be still enough to wonder, deliberate in praise for all the marvelous ways You tenderly care for us. Thank You for new mercies – every morning, for quietness, for Presence. May we lay our burdens at Your feet, embracing the awesomeness of Your Sovereignty and the promise of being with You in eternity – where there shall be no fear, no pain, no crying. O glorious day. Might we wait well.
Prayers for Betsy’s brother – might this flare from MS pass quickly, with minimal discomfort. Prayers of endurance for Julie and Megan, for stability for Marcy, for steady improvement for Lowell. Thank You, Father, for Mary’s availability to help her folks and for time for a new job and activities.

April, thank you for your post yesterday. I found it especially uplifting, encouraging, and warmly expressed.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes with the water problem. A “sticky” switch as it was described caused tbe problem, It was an easy fix and water was restored.
