New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

EACH OF US, every child born of God, is born to be holy. We embrace this holiness when with Mary we say, Here I am, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word. Show me how to love. Help me live in love. I want to give birth to love. At that moment, love is no longer just a concept or a nice idea. It conceives. It starts to develop and take shape in us. What is conceived in us is from the Holy Spirit. We can give it life.

I’ve felt the Holy Spirit during Lenten devotions, in yesterday’s activities with Erich, and early this morning in a message to Anneliese. Very glad to be in touch and we’re working together resolving an issue.

Thankful for fresh snow last night as Erich hopes to go skiing today.

Prayers for Gloria that she is pain free, Marcy is receiving the medical and financial support she needs, Julie’s hands will soon respond to warmer spring weather, her home life will improve, and Megan will find a job, Lou’s newest college student will find the right school and all that is needed to go will be resolved, Mary will find new students and continue teaching, Rusty will regain his vision and the dizziness will go away, Connie will find peace in the beauty of spring, Andrea and Lowell will heal physically and emotionally, Andrea’s travel will go well, Betsy’s ministry will go well, and Edy’s son will have successful surgery. Prayers for the needs and concerns of all te UR family. The Lord is with you. Thank You, Lord.

It is a good reminder today that “every child is born of God; born to be holy”. Often my interactions with others are less than pleasant, needing me to remember this fact. We are ALL children of God. I feel such a surge of the Holy Spirit when visiting this place of God’s children. Blessings for all who come here with struggles and concerns.
Remembering the meaning of this time of Lent; a time of sacrifice and meditation. Help me, Lord, to give more of myself to You.

Amen- prayers and love to you Betsy.

I understand what you said about time with Eric, Robert. There are times that I feel the love between Megan and I is palpable it is so strong. Connections with our children are awe inspiring and truly imbued with the Holy Spirit. I also agree with Betsy, I feel the Spirit at work in this group. I also feel the Holy Spirit working in me because of my interactions with this group.
Thank you for your prayers. Some healing and some fingers getting worse. The weather is warm today but will plummet tomorrow. Sigh
Prayers for Robert, may God strengthen him to meet all the obligations he has. Prayers for Anneliese, may her physical health improve and may she listen with an open mind to Robert. Prayers for Eric, may his job be one he stays with so he can continue to ski.
Prayers for Mary, may her ear infection completely resolve.
Prayers for Lou and her daughter as they find a college and plan her graduation.
Prayers for Betsy and her many volunteer endeavors.
Prayers for Marcy. There is a headache program in one of our hospitals that treats all headaches but most patients have migraines. They employ all forms of treatment and use the newest FDA approved treatments. They are a cutting age facility. Maybe you could get coverage for this type of facility.
Prayers for Rusty and his health concerns. May you continue to be able to work and travel despite your issues.
Prayers for Edy and her meditation practice and Bill and his surgery.
Prayers for Andrea and Lowell for healing physically and emotionally.
Prayers for Jill and her family, may they be filled with the peace of the Holy Spirit.
Prayers for Connie and her garden just waiting under the ground.
Prayers and blessings and warm hugs dear UR family

I feel the Holy Spirit’s presence when I worship Him in singing. It’s not about the voice as much as it is about truly honoring Him by raising up my hands in worship. During service I’m not always with this special feeling. Tears sometimes come and I was told a long time ago that is the Holy Spirit. Also sometimes I hear His encouraging prompts. My heart just wants to explode when I get this way. I love the Lord so much as He is always good to me! Please pray for me and all the candidates participating in Cursillo this last weekend of March. And team preparation every Saturday in March. Thank you all for prayers for Bill.

Prayers and blessings to you and the candidates and special prayers of healing for Bill.

I felt and do see Holy Spirit at work in my life as I am offered an opportunity to recover from compulsive over eating.
One day at a time with the help of God, I can lose this weight which I have used as a barrier, an excuse, and as a victim.

Lord, Grant me the Grace to depend upon you instead of food for comfort. Amen

The Lord bless and keep you Susan-
