New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

JUST AS THE ANGEL promises those women at the empty tomb that the risen Jesus will go ahead into Galilee, so he goes before us to meet us in whatever situation may represent our Galilee. When we recognize his presence and respond to him, resurrection happens in the midst of our daily lives. This is what it means to live today as Easter people filled with the Holy Spirit.

Knowing Christ has already arrived at my job brings comfort and a stronger sense of being sure I do my best work while there. It’s a new thought for me.

I will remember this reading each time I visit my daughter, in-law and grandson and become concerned about my grandson’s behavior. I believe God calls me to be a role model for my daughter and son-in-law by demonstrating loving but firm responses to my 4 y.o. grandson’s behavior when he acts spoiled. I will picture Jesus going ahead, waiting for my arrival.

“In all our work and prayer we are his loving care: May Jesus Christ be praised.”

    Blessings.

    Blessings and prayers.

      Thanks Julie!

Yes, I had fun tonight at cooking class. This is the last class for level 4. We will have one week break then level 5 will commence.

God’s presence goes before us to smoothen our paths for us. That’s what I always pray and that’s why I have no fear.

      Blessings!

I commit Julie into God’s hands. May she be well and healthy!

Every day He goes before me….yes….and reminds me that we are Easter people as this song says:
    Refrain:
    Ev’ry morning is Easter morning
    from now on!
    Ev’ry day’s resurrection day,
the past is over and gone!

Goodbye guilt, goodbye fear, good riddance!
    Hello Lord, Hello sun!
I am one of the Easter People!
    My new life has begun!
    Refrain
Blessings to my UR family …we are Easter People.

Off early yesterday morning food shopping. I get out of kilter. Thankful to return and be able to post.

It is a very encouraging thought that Jesus goes ahead of me to prepare a place for me. not just when I pass, but everyday. I am thankful that the Lord has seen me through experiences that were tough for me. They help build, strengthen my faith.

Continued prayers for mourners here at the UR, in war torn, conflict filled areas, and where terrorism has struck. God’s healing, comfort, and peace to those who are ill, impaired, or hurt. God be with you, now and always. Thank You, Lord. Amen.

Yes, JE, have a mammogram ASAP.

Thank you April, Mary, Julie, Andrea, and Tracy. Amen to your concerns and prayers.
