New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

GOD IS LOVE, we often say, and God gives us strength through the power of love. Love’s power comes from deep respect and compassion for each and every person. Love’s power stems from our profound awareness of God’s presence in and around us at all times. It is our ability to know where and how to express compassion—putting others first and listening with true interest and respect. … Loving and powerful God, you have given us divine strength. May we trust it, live in it, and share it with all. Amen.

God’s love enables me to live and help others. Very thankful for that.

Today will be my first gym day at the new gym. Signed up on Tuesday. Am hopeful it will help me on the path ahead. Progress on the station model, windows and some trim painted. Looking for a good airbrush day, no rain or wind, so I can paint the station itself.

Thankful for resources to take care of needs. You are in my prayers, especially for health and well being. Will return later today to see how all of you are doing. Blessings.

Without God’s strength, I could not face and get through each day. I thank Him as I go to bed each night for getting me through the day. His strength also allows me to recognize need and suffering in others and to do my share to alleviate their distress.
Prayers for Robert, may the new gym meet his needs and help him to stay strong and healthy. Robert, I remember you watched the PBS special that aired the Tree of Life concert. There will be another later this month. Here in Pittsburgh there will be multiple airings following the national one and ours will have extra content. I support our local PBS station (the first in the country and the home of Mr Roger’s neighborhood) which means Ireceive a monthly newsletter which lists upcoming special broadcasts.
Prayers for Jill and God’s care for her needs when she has them.
Prayers for Mary, may God strengthen her today to share her joy and light and bring many to His door.
Prayers for April, BJ, Betsy and Lou.
Prayers for healing for Andrea, Connie and Marcy.
Prayers and may all be blessed and thank you for supporting me and praying for me dear UR posters

Gods love strengthens me by being invested in the best parts of those whom I greet and meet. By having a positive intention to learn about and heal The suffering that all humans partake in. Having the intention and then taking action if needed are the tools. This reminds me of the serenity prayer.

God’s love strengthens me to “go and do likewise”. I have been the recipient of time, conversations, embraces and prayers – all sacrifices by other people in my time of need. God beckons me to not merely be appreciative, but to duplicate these blessings in the lives of others. I long to be faithful and ask Him to open my eyes, where I am missing opportunities.

Good morning, UR family! May God continue to bless you all and keep you with His Joy and Peace. We read in Psalm 91:1-2, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” KJV Jesus, I love You, and I need You, and I cannot get along without You! I need Your STRENGTH to carry on, Lord.
May this UR group have a blessed day. I love all of you!
